Sometimes you are looking for an interesting photo and sometimes it comes to you. At the suggestion of my photographer friend, Chuck Gee, I took this photo from outside behind the stage from the Joe Henderson Lab of the SFJAZZ Center while photographing the SFJAZZ Hotplate Series – “Robert Stewart & Chester Thompson Play Jimmy Smith: Back at the Chicken Shack.” I really like the perspective of looking into room from outside and how the reflective light pulls everything into the photo. It was a fine concert with incredible musicians.
